Terms of use
The agreement between you and Circle Forward for using the Enneagram coaching app. Please read them with the privacy notice.
Version 2026-10, updated 3 October 2026
The short version
- The app is by invitation, for people aged 18 or older, and your account is yours alone.
- It is coaching for your own growth, not therapy, medical advice or crisis support.
- The AI coach can be wrong. You make your own decisions, and your practitioner is the person to check things with.
- What you write stays yours. We use it only to coach you.
- Your package, its price and how you pay are agreed with the practice. Nothing here takes away your rights under South African consumer law.

Agreeing to these terms
You agree to these terms when you set up your account and tick the box to say so. They apply each time you use the app. Your package, meaning what is included, its price, how you pay and any refunds, is agreed with the practice when you buy it. These terms cover how the app works and how you use it.
Who can use the app
- The app is by invitation from the practice, after you ask for access.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Your account is for you alone. Keep your password to yourself, and tell the practice straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
What the app is, and isn't
The app supports your coaching with your practitioner between sessions. It uses your iEQ9 report, an AI coach, and a twelve-week journey to help you notice your patterns and try new ways of responding, across the areas of your life.
It is reflective personal development. It is not therapy, counselling, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. It is not a crisis service. If you or someone with you is in danger, call your local emergency number. The Support page lists lines you can call at any time.
The AI coach
The coach's replies are written by AI, guided by your report and the approach your practitioner works with. AI can misunderstand you, and it can be wrong or incomplete, however sure it sounds. Treat what it says as something to reflect on, not as an instruction. You make your own decisions, and your practitioner is the person to check things with.
Every message and check-in passes a safety check. If it suggests you may be in crisis, the coach gives you support lines instead of an AI reply, and your practitioner is told that it happened and when, never what you wrote. A message the check finds harmful gets no reply.
Your package and access
- You have access for the period of your package, from the day the practice opens it. Account shows the dates.
- Your package includes a monthly share of AI coaching, which refills on the date shown in Account. There is also a daily limit, to keep use healthy. When your share is used, the coach pauses until it refills, and you can ask the practice for a top-up at the price shown.
- Sessions with your practitioner are booked in the app. Sessions beyond those in your package are paid for separately.
- Before your access ends, the practice will tell you your options.
Using the app fairly
Please don't:
- share your account or let anyone else use it;
- use the app to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- try to get around the safety check, your allowance or any other limit, or get the coach to produce harmful content;
- try to break into, overload, copy or scrape the app;
- use the app for anything against the law.
Your iEQ9 report
Integrative Enneagram Solutions produces the iEQ9 report from the questionnaire you completed, and its content is their copyright. The practice uses it for your coaching, and the app shows it to you for your own personal use. Please don't publish, sell or share it with others as if it were your own work.
What's yours and what's ours
What you write and say in the app stays yours. You allow the practice to keep and use it to coach you, as the privacy notice describes, and for nothing else.
The app, its design and its writing, and the coaching material in it, belong to the practice or the people it licenses them from. You may use them for your own coaching.
Pausing or ending access
- You can stop using the app at any time. Tell the practice, and in Account you can ask for your data to be deleted. Stopping your package early is handled under your package agreement and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
- The practice may pause or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the app, or to keep you or someone else safe. Where it can, it will tell you why first.
- When your access ends, you can still sign in for 30 days to read and download your information. After that it is deleted, as the privacy notice says.
When things go wrong
We work to keep the app running and your information safe, but the app or the AI services it uses may sometimes be unavailable or make mistakes. As far as the law allows, the practice isn't responsible for loss that comes from decisions you make based on what the AI coach says, or from things outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits the practice's responsibility for gross negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow it to limit, and nothing takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Changes to these terms
The practice may update these terms as the app changes. It will tell you in the app or by email before a change that matters to you applies, and the version and date are at the top. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the app, and the practice will talk with you about your package.
The law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. If you are unhappy with anything, please tell the practice first, so it can put it right. You can also go to the National Consumer Commission, and for anything about your personal information, to the Information Regulator, as the privacy notice explains.
